Employment Partners are looking for Full-Time HGV 2 ADR drivers for a client of ours in Theale.

If you are looking for a career where you can utilise your ADR and have always wanted to work with Tankers, then this client can provide you with all this and more.

This client is very established and is one of the UK's leading distributors of land fuel products.

The client has stipulated that ADR is beneficial, but not essential. If you have a petrol petroleum card this would also be beneficial.

If you hold an ADR you must have class 3 in tankers in order to be considered for this role.

If you don't hold an ADR, the client can look to put you through an ADR course if they see potential in you. This will give you an extra qualification and widen your experience as a driver.

You must have experience in multi-drop, whilst having good customer service skills due to the public interaction you will come up against.

Job Info:

  • Monday to Friday (1 in 3 Weekends)
  • Drivers start at 6:00am and finish till drops are complete
  • Shifts vary from 8 to 12 hours long
  • Must have multi-drop experience
  • Must have experience of working with hazardous liquid products
  • Experience of loading product from terminals
  • Must have good customer service skills
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills
  • ADR beneficial but not essential
  • Petrol Petroleum Card beneficial but not essential
  • At least 2 years driving experience
  • £25000 salary plus bonus
  • Hold a valid UK driving licence CPC and DT card
  • No more than 6 points on your licence


  • The job holder is responsible for driving the company vehicle in a safe and courteous manner and in accordance with all current legislation and company guidelines
  • The job holder should be aware that they always need to act as an ambassador for the company
  • Responsibility should be taken to inform line management of any changes to driving licence
  • The role holder is responsible for ensuring that to the best of their ability the vehicle is safe and legal condition
  • Report any accidents & incidents to line management
  • Use good judgement when dealing with difficult delivery conditions and always report back to line management details on unsafe sites as quickly as possible
  • Willingness and ability to work across a 7-day shift pattern
  • Willingness to work increased hours during peak trading times
  • Willingness to be redeployed to alternative depot locations in close proximity as required on and ad hoc basis is essential

Loading and Discharging:

  • Responsibility should be taken for loading & discharging in a sensible manner in accordance with company policy and procedures
  • Loading from terminals (fuel samples must be taken at terminal and site)
  • Obtain customer signatures before commencement of delivery

Customer Care

  • Friendly and courteous behaviour should always be displayed
  • Significant customer feedback should be delivered to line manage
